Polo-Tee AKA Tyrone Alexander

The last of six kids born in New Orleans, Louisiana’s hard projects the Saint Thomas in the 10th Ward. Polo went through a lot growing up in the bricks and saw many of peeps killed. Many of his friends on drugs always knew something was special about him. Polo never was a follower, he always led. Growing up with a choice of drugs or music, Polo choose music. After running into one of his child hood friends, Floyd Blunt (Everlasting Hitman), they got tight doing hip hop music and finally came out with the hit “Bounce Baby Bounce”, which introduced Polo to his first contract under Tommy Tee Records in 1996. This was with the group Southside Mob Squad. The duo did their thing for a short while then split apart as Polo went to work with a day job an put music on the back burner for a few years. Polo later ran into his fam Mr. Wicked. They hooked up and Polo had music back in his life recording smash hits such as "Get ur Mind Right”, “Go Off," and many to others to name.

All of a sudden Hurricane Katrina flew through N.O. and devastated many lives. Polo was sent to Dallas, Texas and eventually ran into a producer from his hometown named Surge, and found they had some things in common They founded the group Paperchasas in Dallas Texas and released the self entitled album called “Paperchasas”, after which came “HaterProof” released on Wunder Boy Records. A label located in Arizona..
While out in Dallas performing a show Polo ran into Leblanc Tha Creole who then got in the booth and joined the Paperchasas and it was on.
After the Paperchasas dismantled Leblanc and Polo went back to New Orleans pursing solo careers but hooked up to give u that “2 for 1 Album” released on Hard-Hitter Music.
